The general population needs to recognize that oral health directly affects your health and well-being.
Learn how to improve access to dental care for the homebound geriatric population through the emerging technology of tele-dentistry and the delivery of services via house call dental services. Participants will be able to identify the difference between a true dental emergency and a dental issue that can wait; recommend to professional ALCMs devices or oral care products that reduce infection in the mouth, be more knowledgeable on non-invasive methods of treating cavities for dementia patients or for those who will not tolerate treatment.
